IN BURROWS
A duet about language
In my hands is a photograph, I’m going to describe it to you. Something will happen, I hope.
In Burrows is a delicate conversation about language and translation, performed by myself and Amy Cheskin. Engaging, strange, funny and moving.
All performances are BSL interpreted and Audio Described.

Supported Artists
Alongside In Burrows first performances we were delighted to support the creation of two new short performances about language and communication, with an emphasis on accessibility at their heart. We crowdfunded to offer these makers a small commission, rehearsal space, dramaturgical support and performance documentation.
Words, Who Needs Them?
A sensory bonfire performed in spoken English, Spanish, BSL and Romanian Sign Language. Created by Petre Dobre and Adriana Navarro.
Composition
A piece of sonic art tailored to d/Deaf audiences, created by Blair Coron.
IN BURROWS is a performance about description, translation and imagination. Following the first performance at Tron Theatre I created this publication which re-approaches the project through ten short texts.
Includes a full copy of the IN BURROWS script, original artwork and performance photography.
This is an essay, document and copy of the script.
